What is the "green" tariff?”

The green tariff is a government mechanism aimed at popularizing the renewable energy sector. Legal entities and private individuals using alternative sources to generate electricity are now able to sell it to the state. The purchase price is several times higher than the cost of electricity from the centralized grid. The Law of Ukraine "On Electricity" sets the program for enterprises and private households until January 1, 2030.

The green tariff in our country is one of the highest in the world

By applying for a feed-in tariff, you will be able to receive a monthly profit at least until 2030 by selling the surplus energy produced to the grid. On average, the payback period of a solar power plant is 3-6 years. And then - net profit!

Green tariff for private households

The capacity of private rooftop and ground-mounted solar power plants should not exceed 30 kW.
According to the Resolution of the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities No. 1188 of 30.06.16 "On the establishment of "green" electricity tariffs for private households":

0.18 € per 1 kWh - green tariff 2019
0.16 € per 1 kWh - from 2020 to 2024
0.14 € per 1 kWh - from 2025 to 2030
