Solar collectors for pool heating
Such a solar system collects thermal energy from sunlight and transfers it to the water in an indoor or outdoor pool. This method of heating the pool with solar collectors differs from others in its economy and environmental friendliness.
The principle of operation of the solar system
Sunlight hits the collector, a special coating "absorber" absorbs and heats the coolant. The coolant is then pumped by a circulation pump through a stainless steel or copper pipeline. In this way, thermal energy is transferred from the collector to the consumer: heating system, hot water system or swimming pool. In the practice of implementing such systems, the following algorithm is often used: a solar system is designed to heat water in a swimming pool. During the heating season, all the thermal energy received from the sun is transferred to the heating system. This maximizes the efficiency of the solar system. Such systems allow saving up to 90% on pool heating, up to 30% on the heating system, and up to 80% on hot water. The principle of operation of solar collectors designed only for pool heating is as follows: with the help of a filtration pump, water from the pool is pumped through the collector, where it is directly heated. Such collectors do not require a circulation pump, fluid and piping.
